Our big family Christmas present this year was travel down to Argentina to spend time with my mom. It was an unforgettable trip! Ethan talks about it continually and asks us when we are going to move to Argentina!
Here we are in Plaza de Mayo.
Ethan & his Abuela feeding pigeons in the Plaza de Mayo.
We enjoyed a tour of the Sarmiento, an old Argentine ship.
Ethan in La Boca--the birthplace of Tango!
Abuela sings a Tango song in La Boca.
We all enjoyed the food so much! This was Dana's favorite place by far--La Cazona del Toboso in La Cumbre. The beef skewers were the best!
We spent Christmas day swimming in a river near Abuela's home in La Falda. You can see Tye hiding in the background--she loved being in the water and sunbathing!
Ethan loved jumping from this rock into the river.
Here is Ethan saddling up for a horseback riding trip we took.
We went fishing one day, but had no luck. Oh well!
And, of course, we were able to spend time with family! Like I said, it was an unforgettable trip--thank you to everyone in Argentina!
The Andersons are a family of three--Dana, the husband and dad; Talia, the wife and mother; and Ethan, their son. Dana is an Assistant Professor in the English department at Indiana University. His latest manuscript titled, "Identity's Strategy: Rhetorical Selves in Conversion," published by the University of South Carolina Press, is now on shelves! Check out the link to his book below under family links!
Talia manages the Anderson home (sort-of). She enjoys paper crafts with stamping, reading, planning Disney vacations, and keeps busy doing volunteer work at church and at Ethan's school. Ethan is an adorable son. He loves to play legos, Nintendo, read, collect rocks, swim, play soccer, attend Cub Scouts, and his latest obsession is with turtles. They also have three cats--Chloe, Little Kitty and Cozy--each one with her own unique quirks!
